Addenbrook Lighthouse

Love this view! that little boat never seems to catch us!

Beautiful patchwork quilt look with the
shadow of the clouds imprinted on the hills

A beautiful cruising day from Fury Cove to Fognar Bay.  This is our "Rick and Faye" bay and the place we launch out of to catch halibut.

Enroute - we stopped to view what was left of Namu.  Approximately 8 years ago we stopped in for the last time.  Pete and Reenie were leaving and had found a new area to move to.  Not sure what prompted this move, but when we arrived, Pete had the large digger fired up and he was ripping up the boat ramp and smashing the roofs of the storage areas with the bucket. No more storage of little boats from the fishing camps! How sad to tear away a piece of history with such spite.  In the meantime, the "mini-freighter" that was docked there was cleaned up by the Federal Gov't and Coast Guard.  This probably also hastened the demise of the the most westerly storage shed.  There has been a move afoot for the past 10 years to clean up the whole site.  A start was the removal of the mini-freighter. (Possibly in 2019?), not sure when the whole site will be cleaned up.

Hopefully Mike gets a nice size halibut tomorrow ("Chicken size" - please!)
