I wouldn't put by boat in here, danger!

Old luggage cart from the hotel

The abundance of rain and some hot sunny days make for great flowers!

On its last legs!

More curious than scared.
There are a few changes in Ocean Falls this time around. A new Dockmaster, Sally has moved on and the new Dockmaster is a transplant from the Okanagan - his name is Neil. Neil informed us that the Dam and power plant have been sold to a company from Quebec. There is a wait and see attitude by the residents as no-one knows what will happen. There is a temporary bridge to the power plant from the town as the bridge is nearly all gone now. Both sides of Town have no water pumps so gravity fed water to the docks and no water to Martin Valley. The fish camp in town has no bookings and is for sale. More roofs have fallen in on some of the stores and buildings, so it won't be long until nature reclaims the town back.
A great stay even with the wind and a spot of rain!
