Day 3 - June 30 Powell River to Prideaux Haven

View from Prideaux Haven
A nice re-furbished yacht at anchor in Prideaux

This old Beauty crosses our path into Desolation

A sure sign we are in Holiday Land - "The Copelands"

The sun is shining brightly, the wind is still blowing strong from the Northwest, but we decide it's only a couple of hours away to get to "Holiday Haven" - "Desolation Sound". We were last here last April enroute to Alaska, and our purpose is once again to do some varnishing and enjoy the sun and warmth. Again, there are very few boats here. Perhaps it is still too early for all of the holidayer's to be here?
It's very calm here when we arrive and we have a quiet night on anchor. For those who have George disappearing up to July 1 - you're off the betting board. He's still here. A towel is hung off the back deck should George decide to go for a midnight swim - a kitty swim ladder of sorts. Off to drop my prawn trap, hope to have some jumbo prawns for dinner tommorrow.
