A New Boating Year - June 2009

After a prolonged absence, I have decided to continue on blogging - we will be heading out in a few weeks and are going to visit some places that we did not have time to visit last year. Last years trip has now been "Slide Showed" and our first viewing was last week to fellow members at BYC. Our next showing will be late September to early October at DCYC. This to be followed up with a book I have busily been trying to get finished on our travels. This book will contain, charts, Google Earth maps, more dialogue on the places we visited and of course some recipes of our famous "Ladies only cook every three days" mandate. Our book will contain something for both the "Blue" side of the boating couple and the "Pink" side of our duties. We hope you find our book both entertaining and informative!

This year, we will be specifically spending time in the area between Shearwater and Prince Rupert. Although we will not be going as far north as Alaska, it will still be relevant to anyone going up that far north. This is big country and is well worth seeing thoroughly! I will also be interspersing my blog from years gone by and places we have visited that might be of interest to some of you travelling the Inside Passage.

Get that popcorn maker out again or in the case of many of you, get that morning coffee ready, we're off again on a whole new adventure that we love to share with you all.
