Beautiful Baby Clamming
A beautiful and rugged Fjord Inlet and one of our first nights on a mooring buoy. A mama and Baby grizzley are on the beach, night and day feeding, so this has been a very scenic spot. They were initially wary of us, but when they saw the Canadian Flag and realized that we were not allowed guns, that it was safe to continue feeding on the beach. The mountains surround us and we are but a speck of white at the base of these magnificient mountains. The area that Walker and Rudyard are in are part of a National Park called "Misty Fjord". In 2004 when we were here it was so hot and sunny that the furthest thing from fog we saw was the haze off of our ice cubes in our drinks. This time we were not disappointed, it has lived up to its name!

The only drawback is all of the sight seeing float planes that are buzzing cruise ship passengers in and out of the fjords and landing in the bay. A great gunkhole to the end of the inlet to where an artistic Mike builds a couple of Stone monuments. We decide to spend an extra night here and leave in the mist in the morning to Rudyard.
