While staying at Shawl Bay, we managed to squeek out some weekend side trips with the Motor Bike. We were told about a few great spots that had miles of logging roads and still had a Logging Operation Dock and Ramp to shore (makes it easy to get the motor bike off!) - the first bay we went to was Belleisle Sound. This is only about an hour and half via big boat out of Shawl Bay and has a very protected dock. Belleisle was once a large Logging operation (correct us if we are wrong Lorne) - remains of an old dock and large clearing are still evident today. Mike had a great ride and took some interesting pictures...let us know what you think of the "Weed" photograph - I say its Fireweed, Mike maintains its idiot weed.....hahahaha
