Cypress Harbour Logging Dock

No Stay Logging Dock at Sir Edmund Bay

Just across the Bay from Shawl Bay is another great Biking dock and Logging Roads. Cypress Harbour has a Forestry Park and some well used Logging roads that lead to Broughton Lagoon (story to follow). We spent the better part of a day looking for it as we were told that there was a dock in the next bay over (Sir Edmund Bay) which we could not find. At a later gunkhole, we did find it, but it was in such total disrepair that even if we were able to get the bike off, the ramp was in the water.

We spent a quiet night at the logging dock after Mike went biking for the day. Nice Overnight spot

Definition: Gunkhole - get in your dinghy and explore the surrounding area at a leisurely slow speed(preferably with Road Pops in big Red Cups)
Definition: High Speed Gunkholing - get in your dinghy and explore the surrounding area at speeds of 30-40 miles per hour (preferably with Road Pops in Bottles so that you don't spill) and cover a hundred square miles
