Day 10 – Bishop Bay to Prince Rupert

Wright Sound at 5:00 am

Bishop Bay Hot Springs

Prince Rupert with the rain lifting

Grenville Channel on the inside passage

Another long day – 90 miles from Bishop Bay to Rupert. The weather does not sound promising for the next few days, so we may be spending extended time waiting out the weather for the opportunity to continue north. Game 2 tonight – hope we can moorage in Rupert as the yacht club cannot accommodate us.
Our first sighting of Orca today - A Female and her calf just having their morning nosh. Its pretty smooth sailing and we make the long day fun chatting on the radio to each other. The weather is a bit drizzly in spots but the ocean remains calm. When we arrive in Rupert, the sun pops out and we go to the pub for a good hockey game and some food.
