After a restful stay at Cardero Lodge, we headed down to the not so desolate, Desolation Sound.   Spent a few days in Forbes Bay and then onto Laura Cove, where we ran into hordes of people we knew from DCYC and BYC. 

We ran into Alex, Clive (CliveeeeOoh), Colin, Barndt and others in Laura Cove and travelled with them for a week. After trying to gunkhole up into Toba Inlet we stopped to smell the roses along the way.  Another stop for next time - https://www.facebook.com/homfraylodge

After a week, we went with the group into Okeover Inlet to the Laughing Oyster and spent a few fun days on the dock there.  Then on to Pender and then up to Indian Arm for a couple of weeks.

All in all a great summer and we are looking forward to another great boating season in 2015.
