July 19th – Naha Bay

A not so secret Nuclear Sub parking lot
Picnic Site - must rain alot! Note Roof
Dave & Penny in the Lagoon
Dahls Porpoise swimming under our bow
A bit lackluster, but then we are becoming a bit jaded as we have seen so many wonderful sites and met so many nice people that its pretty hard to top our last stops.
Mike and I and Penny and Dave gunkhole into the lagoon in the afternoon. Its raining pretty hard and we are swinging pretty far on our anchor, even with a stern line. There is quite a rip and current through the bay from the lagoon. The lagoon is a haven for swans in the fall, we are a bit early, but with this cold weather, maybe we will have fooled the clocks on some of the swans? No such luck, a big black bear and lots of skiffs tied up on the beach. We later find out that there is a bible camp in there somewhere, it must be well hidden as we did not see it in our travels.
